Teen Drawing Workshop
With Vanessa Corrigall

Through July and August, art students will have the opportunity to build upon their abilities to draw what they see with visual art instructor Vanessa Corrigall.

Workshops have been designed in such a way as to develop specific skills while improving abilities for later lessons. Lessons can be taken on a week-by-week basis if an art student prefers to focus on a particular skill.

Through weeks one and two of the sketching and drawing workshops, students will develop a sense of accuracy in proportions and tone.

In week three, students will experiment with different ways to use color in artwork.

Finally, in weeks four and five, students will apply their knowledge of drawing and color theory to several watercolor and acrylic paintings.
