Board/Committee Opportunities

The Leduc Art Club is looking to build the board! The following positions/committees need your help to continue the growth and success of this club!  The club is volunteer-based, and many of us have been on the board for a long time.  If something interests you or if you have any questions please contact us.

Vice President

Assist the President with any duties, conduct special projects and tasks as assigned by the board. Is an ex officio member of all committees.

Membership and Volunteer Committee Lead

Managing membership registrations and concerns.

Secretary

Responsible for the administration of the Leduc Art Club.

Program Committee Lead

Find teachers for classes and workshops. 

Special Events Lead

Plan and execute in special events.

Grants & Fundraising Committee Lead

Research and pursue  grant, fundraising, and sponsorship opportunities. 

Instructing Opportunities

The Leduc Art Club is looking for an instructor for the Unique Prospective (UP) Program

“UP” is a program that consists of art classes for adults with developmental disabilities.  These art classes offer participants the opportunity to learn or increase their techniques by introducing them to: 

methods of paint application, shadows and color, as well as different mediums to create desired visual effects with tools and resources.  

 

The Leduc Art Club will provide materials and templates.

Applicants will require a police and vulnerable record check.  

Artistic experience is a must, organizational and communication skills are an asset.

 

Start Date: October 2023 to March 2024

 

Hours: 9 to 11:30am every Wednesday and 1 to 4pm every Wednesday.  This includes set up and clean up time.

 

Classes are held at the Leduc Arts Foundry in the Leduc Recreation Centre.
