Participating in the Black Gold Pro Rodeo Art Competition & Exhibition is very meaningful to me because rodeo has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up attending the Leduc Rodeo, and it's one of my favorite childhood memories.
At this stage in my artistic journey, I am just beginning to share my work with others. This is my first competition, which makes this opportunity both exciting and a little intimidating. I am still exploring my style and building confidence in my voice as an artist, but I am eager to grow and learn through experiences like this.
