In this 5 week class we will explore different ways to capture light in our watercolour paintings. One of the most important parts of a successful painting is the contrast between light and dark — the highlights in your work add sparkle and interest. Unlike other mediums, watercolour thrives on leaving the white of the paper to shine through, we will look at saving the whites and restoring them when we accidentally go a little too far.
