Bruce Whaley

Bruce Whaley was already drawing farm animals, trucks and tractors, from his rural Ontario environment, at 6 years of age. Tutored in drawing and watercolor through a 4 year commercial art course, and self-taught in oil and acrylic painting, Bruce enjoys working in all 4 mediums. His drawings and paintings feature a love of human and animal portraiture, as well as landscape painting, in his own realist style. Inspiration can come from an interesting location, lighting or atmosphere, in everyday sights and events, personal experiences and travels. Retiring from the regular work force in 2015, Bruce is now pursuing a life-long dream of creating art. Hope you are enjoying the Art Show.
