Annette Russell
Annette Russell is a local artist living in Leduc. She has been drawing from a young age and started oil painting in 2009. Her interest in the arts has been a lifetime passion, one that she loves to explore and share with others. She is a long-time member and supporter of the Leduc Art Club, SAPG, and SWCA. Annette has trained under Gene Prokop at Pro’s Art Atelier School and at the University of Alberta. She also enjoys reproducing paintings by the Masters finding it an excellent way to learn. Annual Aspiring Young Artist Competition
This year we had 46 students submit 82 pieces of art to be judged. The participating Schools Divisions were Leduc Composite High School (LCHS), New Sarepta Community High School (NSCHS), Ecole Secondaire Beaumont Composite High School (ESBCHS) and Black Gold Outreach School (BGOS).
